We Want to See You

Oh Lord Jesus,

When we gather together in your house

There are many that don’t see you

They don’t know you are there.

They don’t see your beautiful face.

They don’t see your hands;

In compassion.

They don’t hear you

Speak their name.

When you speak their name in love,

In joy,

Ecstatic that you have redeemed them;

They don’t see you at all.

They don’t hear you at all.

Lord, open the eyes of the blind;

Let us see you.

We want to see you.

  1. Yes and AMEN! It truly gets tiring to hear people say, “God’s not around anywhere. I don’t see Him, I don’t hear Him.” We are living in such a time of blinders, scales on the eyes, it really sad to see. They have taken God out of everything leaving a society of full blown corruption. I cry out everyday, “Lord, Jesus and Holy Spirit, anoint our nations eyes with eye salve, that the scales fall off that we may see in the name of Jesus! Tune our radio station, our antennas to the frequency of You, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit! And ALL Gods children say, AMEN!

      Tori, thanks for your response. 🙂 So true. And we were ALL blind at one time or another; that’s sometimes difficult for me to remember because now His presence just seems “normal” and we can never go back to the way it was before. It seems that some of us were sent to “prepare the way of the Lord” by simply pointing out His presence to others, just like a kid yelling the obvious “DADDY’S HOME!”. Lol. And those of us that see him and hear him can encourage each other in the awesomeness of his presence, right?? 🙂
